A NOTE FROM CHARLES / BUILT IN DIAMOND BAR

Big tech should have
a small-business address.

I’m Charles Buggs, founder of YourBA AI. I’m building a technology business here in Diamond Bar because useful technology belongs in the places where everyday business happens.

WHY HERE?

You shouldn’t need a Silicon Valley budget to get useful technology.

The conversation about AI can get big quickly. Big platforms. Big funding. Big promises. Meanwhile, a business owner is trying to get back to a customer, find a contact or figure out what to post this week.

That everyday work matters to me. YourBA starts there: with the business, the person running it and the part of the day that could work better.

Diamond Bar is where I’m building this. I want tools associated with big technology companies to become useful for the businesses around us—adapted to their budgets, their customers and the way they actually operate.

Small business is personal.

A local business is someone’s livelihood. It is the team they have built, the relationships they keep and the reputation attached to their name. There is nothing small about that responsibility.

When I say I want YourBA to support small businesses, I mean taking that responsibility seriously. Understanding what the owner needs. Explaining the work clearly. Following through. And being honest when something needs a human decision.

My favorite question is simple: “And then what happens?”

A customer fills out the form. And then what happens? Someone asks for an estimate. And then what happens? A happy customer leaves. Is anyone asking them to share their experience?

Those questions help us find the next useful step. Sometimes it is a better follow-up process. Sometimes it is connected information or a clearer way to tell the business story. We do not have to start with a huge system to make the day easier.

AI is useful when people feel the difference.

I want the conversation to include the owner’s day: less time checking five places, fewer loose ends and more attention available for customers, family or the next business decision.

That is the purpose behind the YourBA crew. Each persona makes a responsibility easier to understand. You can see who handles what, where your input is needed and what comes next.

Built Different is a responsibility.

For me, it means building around the business in front of us. Starting with a useful job. Keeping the scope clear. Showing the work. Earning the next step.

If you run a small business in Diamond Bar or the surrounding communities, I’d like to hear what is getting in the way. We can start with one question—and see where the conversation goes.
